Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I am back in Atlanta after a long weekend in Santa Barbara. This was my first time visiting for a girlfriend’s wedding. It was SO unbelievably beautiful there, I did not want to leave! With such beautiful scenery, I knew I’d be taking as many photos as possible – which warrants a new outfit or two, am I right?!
For this trip, I wanted something that was California-cool yet chic that I could take from day to night. So obviously when I saw this Free People dress become available online (insert heart eye emoji), I didn’t hesitate & added it to my cart!
Now for dress details! There are a few things that I really love about this dress! First of all, I fell in love with the royal blue color! It ‘s always a good color choice for blondes! 😉 But, if blue isn’t your color it’s also available in black, ivory & white – which would be the perfect honeymoon dress for any brides to be reading this!
Secondly, I love the overall design & fit of this dress. Its great quality, which is to be expected with most Free People dresses. From the front, there are two slits on either side of the legs. The slits lay flat in the front and aren’t visible unless you’re walking or stick your leg out. So it’s up basically up to you if you want to show a little leg or not! It also has a low back with three separate adjustable ties to get the perfect fit! Definitely one of my favorite recent purchases that I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect dress for summer!
I paired the dress with these wedges from Nordstrom ($79) that are the comfiest wedges of all time! They’re one of my best sellers for May & still available in 3 colors!
Finally, these flower earrings! They’re the perfect statement piece for summer & only $38. You’ve probably already seen me wearing them all over my Instagram already.
