Transitioning Into Spring: What To Buy Now

Pom Cardigan: Chicwish |  Wedges: Marc Fisher (similar style here) |  Lace Tank: Nordstrom | Bag: Cult Gaia | Jeans: Joe’s | Earrings: Baublebar

Today I’m sharing my favorite pieces that are perfect for transitioning into spring. With temperatures in the mid 70’s lately, I’ve been having major spring fever!  As seasons start to shift I always look for pieces that are key to next wardrobe staples for the next season.  It’s best to start with pieces that you can wear now and mix easily into your winter wardrobe.

Transitioning Into Spring: What To Buy Now

1. Start With Shoes

Shoes are always a good starting place to transition your look for next season.  As much as I love boots and booties, there’s nothing better than a cute pair of spring shoes! Wedge espadrilles are always the go-to shoe that I get excited to wear every spring!  These Marc Fisher wedge espadrilles have been my favorite pair for years and are SO comfortable!  (You can check my whole review here).  This year Marc Fisher came out with a blush pair that I was super excited about and had to have!  They sold out fast (I’m sure they’ll be restocked soon) but they also have this new similar style in blush & a blush and white style.  Another pair that is in my shopping cart right now are these Chole Espadrille wedges. How cute are these?! They also come in this espadrille sandal option that I love!

2. Spring Bags

A good bag can do anything from adding a pop of color, to some much-needed detail to an otherwise simple outfit.  Mixing together your winter style with a spring bag creates the perfect transitional look!  Last year, I became a huge fan of Cult Gaia bags and think they’re the perfect bag to elevate a look.  They’re affordable pieces that really stand out and always seem to be a conversation starter everytime I carry one. This year, I was really excited about this Cult Gaia bamboo circle bag that has a beaded strap! Check out more bags I’m loving for spring below.

3. Add Some Pink

Don’t be afraid to transition winter neutrals with a bold pop of pink!  Pastel hues like blush pink have proven to have some staying power. I’m not afraid to mix pink into my wardrobe that has a major presence every spring season. Look for ways to make it more interesting by playing with textures – like this Chicwish pom cardigan.

What pieces are you most excited to wear this spring?  I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below.  Thanks so much for reading!
