Today I’m turning 27! I thought it would be a fun post idea to do a Q&A for my birthday. But first, I want to talk about today’s outfit details. If you follow my blog you know I love pink, so naturally I thought it was the appropriate color to rock on my B-Day!
This off-the-shoulder top I’m wearing is from Red Dress Boutique ($42) and how perfect are the sleeves?! It would be a great top for a casual Valentine’s Day look and for transitioning into Spring. I paired the look with jeans, but you could honestly wear this top so many different ways. (paired with white jeans or even a denim skirt). To complete the look I added some accessories – my new Gucci belt & my favorite Gucci bag.
In yesterday’s post, I asked you guys to send me questions that you would want to see answered. I picked out some of the most popular ones and divided them into three categories: fashion, blogging, and beauty. Let’s get started!
FASHION
* If you could only carry one purse all year that you own, which would it be?
My Gucci GG bag
* Who is your fashion icon?
I don’t have one particular fashion icon but some stylish celebs I love are – Olivia Palermo and Gigi Hadid.
*What’s your favorite brand of jeans?
I wear all different brands of jeans! But, I really love AG and Joes Jeans.
*What’s your favorite pair of shoes you own?
I think I have a favorite pair for each season! But in the spring/summer, I love these Marc Fisher wedges & also just bought this new style. In the winter, I live in these Sam Edelman booties.
BLOGGING
*When did you start blogging & how did you start?
I started blogging in November 2014. I’ve always been interested in fashion since I was a little girl. (My first job was actually at Limited Too at age 15, because I begged my mom to let me work in a store… HA!) But anyway – I kind of stumbled into creating my blog. I remember it was during football season and I was getting really bored watching games with my boyfriend. So I started looking for ways to occupy my time other than just shopping online and I got the idea to create a fashion blog. I thought it would be perfect way to combine my passion for fashion and writing and that’s how Urban Blonde was born!
*What’s your favorite part about blogging?
My favorite part of blogging is you guys! I love hearing from my readers and connecting with them. I’ve also loved getting to meet other bloggers along the way. I’ve even become very close friends with two bloggers that I would have never met otherwise – Stefanie Eadie & Morgan Klein. I text with them pretty much every day! 🙂
*What’s your advice for beginning bloggers?
First, I would say to make sure you’re starting your blog for the right reasons. Blogging takes a lot of hard work and dedication so I’d make sure you’re super passionate about it. I’d also say consistency is key!! In order to grow a large and loyal following, you have to post content and photos on your blog and on social media on a regular basis.
*How do you edit your photos?
I shoot frequently with a local photographer and don’t edit those photos. But if I do shoot on my iPhone then I use these apps to edit them – Snapseed and Camera 360.
BEAUTY
*What shampoo and conditioner do you use?
I love It’s a 10 haircare products! I use their miracle shampoo & miracle conditioner.
*What’s your favorite lipstick?

*What foundation do you use?
