Activewear c/o:  Epidemia Design | Shoes: Nike | Water Bottle: Swell | Workout bag:

I recently came across an activewear line called, Epidemia Design and was instantly intrigued with their line.  I’m always looking for new athletic wear and love pieces that are both functional and fashion forward.  What really caught my attention about this line, is the unique prints and attention to detailed design.  The inspiration behind this brand is, “Activewear for life in motion.”  The line is designed for real women, whether you’re going to the gym, running errands or a stylish active mom.

I’m picky about activewear and don’t settle for pieces that aren’t high quality and functional.  If I’m going to the gym to workout hard, the last thing I want to worry about is uncomfortable workout gear… that’s seriously the worst!  Epidemia Activewear,  checks yes to all the boxes in my book.  The leggings are durable, form fitting, high waisted and extremely flattering around the mid-section.  The sports bra is comfortable, supportive and not tight around the band. For reference, I sized up in the sports bra and am wearing a medium, but I could have fit in a small.  The leggings run true to size, and I’m wearing a size small.

So, make sure to check out Epidemia Design and let’s discuss my workout tips!

5  Fall Workout Tips with Epidemia Design

Let’s face it, during the fall and winter months, swimsuit season is over, and it’s easy to “fall” back into bad habits.  It’s tempting, because after all, this season is full yummy food and comfy over-sized sweaters.  But, if you’re trying to stay on track this season during the cooler months, here are some helpful tips.

1. Planning Ahead

If you’re like me.. your schedule is super busy and you’re not going to make it to the gym unless you plan ahead!  I try to plan my workout the night before by looking at my schedule and see what I have going on.  I either wake up and workout at 5 AM, on my lunch break, or sometimes after work.  I also try to pack a bag the night before or lay my outfit out if I’m waking up early.  That way, I have no excuse to not hit the gym!

2. Take Advantage of Fall Activities

The great thing about fall is there are so many events going on and opportunities to get outside! From pumpkin picking, corn mazes, haunted trails, and heading north for a hike. You can organize a weekend trip or local get-together with an autumn theme and plan to be active.

3. Switch Up Your Routine.

As the weather cools down and summer ends, it can become difficult to stay motivated. It’s good to try a variety of activities and vary your workouts.  This will help give a fresh spin on exercise and allow you to try a wide range of activities.

4. Gear Up

Fall usually produces cooler weather, but the cooler temperatures can easily be combated by dressing in weather appropriate workout gear.  Keep this in mind as you plan outdoor activities and invest in breathable activewear.

5. Workout at Home

It may seem impossible to fit in your working routine sometimes. But, working out at home, even 15 or 20 minutes is enough time to get in a quick workout — think living room aerobics or a quick dash around the neighborhood. You can even do a fitness DVD or look on YouTube for workouts.

How are you staying motivated to workout this fall?  I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below!
