The fall season is here and one of my favorite things to do is travel! I love going to destinations where the leaves are a pretty orange and the weather is pleasantly cool. I’m sure a lot of you have weekend destinations planned or are planning on traveling during the holidays that are just around the corner. If you are one of these people, I’ve rounded up my favorite fall travel essentials you should bring with you on your next adventure!

2. If I’m not driving, I love to bring a good book with me to read in the car and pass the time. It’s nice to take a moment to take a break from social media and relax with a good read. Right now, I’m loving Aimee Song’s new book, Capture Your Style. It’s packed with helpful Instagram tips, and who better to get Ingram tips from then mega fashion blogger @songofstyle.
3. At some point we’ve all over-packed, and for me this mainly is with shoes (6 pairs of shoes? Guilty!) In the fall and winter months it’s easy to over-pack because it’s boot season and they’re so many more options! But, if I’m just going for a weekend trip, I try to limit it to no more then 3-4 pairs. I typically pack a tall boot, booties, flats and possibly a running shoe. These Tory Burch boots are a classic favorite of mine. To me, they’re worth the splurge because they’ll never go out of style! I’m also a huge fan of the lace-up trend and love these leopard lace-up flats.
