Bomber jackets are definitely having a moment right now, and a perfect piece to incorporate in your fall wardrobe. Simultaneously sporty, bomber jackets are a great way to dress down a look and give a girly outfit a bit of edge. This season’s bomber jacket has been popular in a range of colors, from army green to bubblegum pink, going beyond basic black.
I chose this silky satin bomber from H&M. It comes in four colors and has an affordable price tag ($34.99). It does run small so I recommend sizing up. I’m wearing a size 6 for reference.
How to Wear a Bomber Jacket
Bomber jacket’s are easy to layer over various outfits. It’s such a versatile piece of clothing that there really are no fashion rules – so feel free to experiment! Here are some helpful ways to wear a bomber jacket and nail the look.
- Add a bit of edge by wearing it over a flirty skirt and top set.
- Throw your bomber of a mini dress or jumpsuit.
- Wear it like Gigi Hadid, and rock it over your workout gear. (aka over a black sports bra & leggings)
- For a boho festival vibe, wear it over your favorite fall floral maxi dress.
- Make your bomber unique by adding authentic details like pins or patches.
- Go casual with a colored bomber and destroyed denim.
