Happy Thursday! This week has been a very exciting yet a very busy week for me. You may have noticed me mention in my last post that I will be attending NYFW this year. This will be my first time going to New York Fashion Week and I’m beyond excited! It has always been a dream of mine to attend. After receiving invites to shows, I wanted to make it happen. I contacted fashion blogger, According to Blaire (Stefanie Eadie) who I text with all the time and we started planning our trip together! We’re also meeting up and attending shows with NYC fashion blogger Morgan Klein who writes Fashion Fries. I can’t wait to meet these girls in person! I think one of the best parts about blogging is connecting with other influencers that share the same passion as you and sometimes they end up evolving into real life friendships.
In other news, Connor and I are shooting our save-the-date photos after work today! I’m really excited about the location but I don’t want to give too much away. I’ll be sure to share the pictures on my blog once they’re sent out to our guest.
Now for the outfit details! I’ve been really into the off the shoulder trend this season and just when I thought this trend couldn’t get any better, I found the most fantastic off the shoulder top that exists! How amazing are the ruffles?! I’m loving the feminine frill of this OTS top. The best part is, this top is only $14.99 and a designer dupe of the brand MLM Label, which retails for $150. If you’re wondering what the catch it, there really is none. I accidentally threw this top in my dryer with a bunch of towels and ran it for two cycles … and it didn’t shrink! For reference, I’m wearing my normal size (small) but if you’re in-between sizes, I’d recommend sizing down. I also hate when OTS tops ride up when you lift your arms to do anything, and this one doesn’t do that. It completely stays in place!
