It has been freezing here lately, with the exception of one day last week when it randomly felt like spring. I’ve been wearing more affordable winter items recently. Hootie accidentally ripped a hole in my Spanx leggings the other day in the knee. Needless to say, I’ve been gravitating towards items under $100, at least while he’s in this playful stage. I wore this look over the weekend for a quick bite to eat at our favorite Mexican spot. I realized that basically, my entire look was on sale, so I wanted to share it with you guys!
This wool blend coat is on sale under $55 and perfect for layering. I paired it with white denim skinnies that are 40% off and super comfy! These over-the-knee Sam Edelman boots are my favorite lastest sale find! They are 50% off (under $90) and stay up with the adjustable toggle closure. They’re seriously the best fit and don’t go up too high. Perfect if you’re on the shorter side – I’m 5’4 for reference.
Below I styled this coat a slightly different way with more affordable finds with the only exception being my handbag. I rarely wear anything other than designer bags because they just last longer and I really believe they are the best part of your wardrobe to invest in! I do think mixing in affordable clothing absolutely makes sense and I am sharing all details below.
