Last week I was excited to join the LiketoKnow.it team in Atlanta! I got the chance to attend their RewardStyle event in the Westside Provisions District and connect with a lot of local bloggers. Many of them I’ve followed on social media for years but have never met in person. It was so good to finally meet them IRL for the first time!
When I started blogging almost three years ago, it never occurred to me that I would meet so many wonderful influencers and creatives. Meeting other bloggers has been one of my absolute favorite parts of blogging! Yes, it’s a competitive industry but the bloggers I’ve connected with along the way have been nothing but mutually supportive. Maybe it’s that we have a common “blogger bond” that makes us on the same wavelength.
Many people don’t fully understand the blogging industry and everything that goes into running a successful blog. It may look glamorous on Instagram but I can assure you it’s not. Don’t get me wrong… I love what I do & it definitely has its perks! But at the end of the day, my blogger friends are the only ones that truly understand what I do on a daily basis. I’m lucky enough to even call two bloggers (that I met when I started blogging) my besties! The three of us text every day, and pretty much all day.
Now for what you’re really here for …outfit details! I love a comfy cotton dress for fall that you can easily throw on and dress up or down for only $45. This LBD steps out of the norm from a typical t-shirt dress, with an adjustable corset, choker neckline & cutout v-neck. I really love how the corset sinches at the small part of my waist. making it super flattering!
I paired the dress with some of my suede favorites. I bought this jacket back in July and new it would be the perfect staple piece come fall. (comes in 4 colors) I love these over-the-knee boots because they have an adjustable tie back to keep them from falling down. Marc Fisher always makes such comfortable shoes and these are definitely the comfiest OTK boots I own!
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably recognize this bag because I’ve been wearing it non-stop lately. I was in desperate need of a great bag for fall, and instantly fell in love with this leopard Brahmin bag! They have so many cute options for fall that are also available at Nordstrom, here.

I know right. The only people who actually understand the true amount of work we put into this (not only the glam bits on Instagram) are other bloggers and that’s why it’s so great to hang out with people who truly understand us so we can share our aggressions, disappointments, but also our successes. 🙂 As for your outfit, it’s smashing! 🙂
