After a full day’s worth of events trekking through the brutal temperatures, I’m so tired, but fashion week is one of those moments where you just have to be ready to go all the time! Day 2 consisted of more beautiful shows and presentations, which I’ll be taking you through below.
My first stop was the launch of Heidi Klum’s new fashion line, Esmara, available in Lidl stores in the USA & internationally. The line was a variety of bright & bold statement pieces mixed with practical basics. There were a lot of printed and metallic matching sets that I’d wear. It was a good reminder to never be afraid to play with bold, coordinating colors!
After the show, we got a chance to meet with Heidi Klum. She’s even more gorgeous in person and very kind! It was definitely a highlight of NYFW for me thus far.
Following, I headed to the Art Hearts Fashion show that featured designers – Mashael Al-Mutawa and Purvi Doshi.
Mashael Al-Mutawa was full of luxe gowns that incorporated a lot of embellishment and textures.
Purvi Doshi featured beautifully embroidered pieces that were airy & full of colorful detail.
My first look of the day consisted of this wrap top that I paired with a basic denim skirt, and is a great staple piece for fall. This skirt does run small (I sized 2 sizes up). My heels are Vince Camuto and were extremely comfortable for running all around NYC. They come in several colors but I’m in love with the velvet pink!
