It feels so good to be married! Â I know everyone says this, but it truly was the best day of my life. I have been planning for this wedding since Connor proposed in February 2016, but like most girls, it’s a day I have dreamt of for a while. Â I’ve always hoped for someone to come into my life that I’d want to marry & spend my life with. Â Just when I wasn’t expecting it …along came Connor. Â We met the summer after our senior year at Ole Miss and have been inseparable every since.
I didn’t intend for this post to be too sobby, but he definitely is the best thing that has ever happened to me.  He’s the kind of person that can make you crack up laughing when you’re having the worst day.  We have so much in common but I think our differences are what really make our relationship work.  I’m so lucky to have found my soulmate.
Getting Ready
The hours leading up to the wedding seemed to fly by! Â I was lucky enough to have my 10 best girlfriends as my bridesmaids, Â that flew in from all over the country to be there (many of them I met at Ole Miss). We all had our hair and makeup done in a suite at the top of the Lowe’s Hotel in Atlanta – and I loved the way it turned out! Â Our makeup artist was Kim Kelley & hair was by Alexa Clarke. Â They both did an amazing job!
After getting ready, Connor and I headed outside to shoot a ton of photos.  Obviously, I loved every single one of them… sorry for the picture overload, ha!  I swear I tried to narrow it down, but I couldn’t help myself because our photographer Jessica, owner of Jessica Williams Studio was SO amazing!  She did a great job of capturing every moment.

The day of the wedding was a bit surreal. Â I couldn’t believe this day that I had thought of and planned for, for so long was actually happening. Â I tried to look around and take in every moment. A few emotions that ran over me were trying not to cry (tears of happiness) and laughing/smiling so much that my jaw hurt. Our family and friends made the day so unforgettable, we’d do it all over again!
Wedding Planning & Vendors
Now for the wedding details! Many people find planning a wedding stressful, but it truly was fun planning all the details. Â Of course, it has its moments, but overall it was an exciting experience. I tried not to over-think decisions and just thought of it as getting to throw a huge party for all our family and friends! Â I also had a large timeline to plan and an absolutely amazing wedding planner, Suzanne with We Tie The Knot. Â I highly recommend her if you live in the Atlanta area! Â My mom was also SO amazing being there every step of the way and helping with every detail!
